Copy editing services include the process of making revisions and suggestions about the content of a document, focusing on improving the accuracy of language, flow, and overall readability. I believe all writing benefits from high-quality copy editing, but I specialize in scholarly writing, offering superior editorial assistance and up-to-date academic expertise. With additional bilingual capabilities, I also specialize in helping English-as-a-second language scholars master the subtleties of academic English in their writing. As the final stage in the editing process, Proofreading is a chance to correct grammatical, spelling, and typographical errors in a document, often in the form of proof pages. I work with anomalies and specificities like field-level terminology, differences between language sets, and complex sentence structures. I’ve worked with scholars at all professional levels in a variety of final-stage proofreading roles, including proofing galley pages for monographs and edited collections, journals and other periodicals, and master’s and doctoral theses. I also offer style conversion and bibliographic proofreading in all major academic conventions (MLA, APA, Chicago, etc.).
